Previously, Asurion managed separate claims websites for each of its partners, entirely with the partners' branding. Upon the launch of Asurion-branded insurance products, it no longer made sense to miss an opportunity for name recognition during the claims process.
Asurion was expanding beyond B2B into D2C. Our goal was to create a single place for all subscribers to file, check, and manage claims—whether they subscribed through Verizon or Asurion Home+.
02 — Creative process
Alongside a Senior Design Manager and our UX research team, we tested a few initial designs with subscribers who had only interacted with us through partner-branded apps.
03 — Results
One month after launch, traffic to Asurion's website had increased by 14%, and calls to our help center regarding filing a claim decreased by 3%.
